DUBLIN, Ireland — CR2, a provider of channel and Internet banking, ATM and card payment software, has partnered with Grupo Procesamiento Interactivo (Grupo Pisa), based in Mexico.
The agreement means that Grupo Pisa will resell all CR2's BankWorld and CardWorld products in Latin America. Grupo Pisa and its network of partners throughout the region will also implement CR2's banking channel and channel management solutions, according to a news release.
Through business associates, distributors and international agreements with strategic associates, Grupo Pisa has a presence in several countries including Chile, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
Its core back office product, SIF, is used by more than 25 customers; its OFI/Cooperando branch products will shortly support more than 2,000 locations in Mexico and Latin America.
"The addition of CR2's products to our portfolio means that we can offer a complete channel management solution in Latin America," said Michael Kelley, Grupo Pisa's managing partner.
Kieran Kilcullen, CR2's sales and marketing director, noted that Adexus, a Grupo Pisa partner, has extensive experience implementing and supporting large ATM and point-of-sale switching solutions in Latin America over the last 15 years.
