LEICESTER, United Kingdom — Working Solutions recently redeveloped Acquire, its in-house kiosk development program, for use by any kiosk developer. Acquire manages the distribution of the content to remote kiosks either through manual deployments or to networked kiosks using Working Solutions’ secure PLUS network. Acquire integrates with Working Solution’s existing Kioskmonitor solution to provide remote monitoring and maintenance.
Acquire allows for the creation of media-rich presentations using BMPs, JPEGs, PNGs, FLASH movies and full-screen video. A number of plug-ins are available which allow Acquire to communicate with other technologies. Acquire includes a number of reporting functions and all the logged information can be used to check on usage statistics, dwell times and other useful information.
