WESTON, Fla. — Industrial Specialty Contractors LLC (ISC) purchased Ultimate Software's UltiPro Workforce Management to assist in leveraging self-service for employees and managers, to enhance reporting capabilities, and to improve enterprise integration among the company's multiple solutions. Ultimate Software is a provider of Web-based payroll and workforce management solutions.
ISC supervisors will have access to UltiPro functionality designed especially for managers so they can evaluate a staff member's compensation history, past performance review, internal job history, and skill assessments. The company will post reports for managers on the portal that contain more detailed information about employees, like open positions and paid-time-off balances.
According to ISC Manager of Finance and Benefits Steve McNeal, the company is looking forward to making UltiPro available to remote employees using kiosks so that the workforce has more control and responsibility for their own information. "We plan to automate many HR and payroll processes, such as benefits enrollment, using UltiPro. By making employee-related forms and handbooks available on the UltiPro portal, we will not only save money, but also make information available to employees and managers at their convenience without calls or e-mails to administrative staff," said McNeal.
In addition to gathering information for decision makers, ISC will pass data from UltiPro into its accounting software to assist with financial planning and budgeting. UltiPro will integrate with ISC's new back-office construction accounting and project management software, and will allow for exports and imports to benefit providers and time and attendance vendors.
ISC employs approximately 1,000 associates in multiple locations throughout the United States and was recently recognized by ENR magazine as the second largest industrial/petrochemical electrical contractor in the nation.
