LAS VEGAS — The Excalibur Hotel and Casino, a Mandalay Resort Group property, has contracted to be included in VirtGame Corp.’s Sports Bet Express network of sports wagering kiosks, according to a news release. The agreement grants to VirtGame the exclusive right to integrate the Mandalay's sports book into VirtGame' s Sports Bet Express system.
Sports Bet Express' sports wagering kiosks are located in non-casino Nevada locations such as bars and taverns. The kisoks permit players to remotely place bets on a variety of sporting events played around the world from licensed tavern locations throughout Nevada.
Players log onto the kiosk to pull up their sports wagering account at their favorite casino and place bets, check scores and perform a number of different functions remotely. Participating casinos extend their brand reach while allowing their players more frequent sports book access throughout Nevada.
"As a result of this relationship, Mandalay Resort Group through its designated properties will expand the reach of its casino book throughout the State of Nevada and through the implementation of this VirtGame technology will increase its casino base allowing them to better serve their players," stated Mark Newburg, president and CEO of VirtGame.
