CARY, N.C. — Transoft International Inc., a worldwide provider of banking currency-management solutions, has announced that more than 12 ATM processing networks have certified its eATM software, a multi-vendor ATM emulation solution that is based on WOSA/XFS and NDC+ messaging protocols.
Transoft’s eATM solution has been certified by far-reaching networks like Concord EFT/STAR, Fiserv EFT, CSI, Fifth Third Processing Solutions, Metavante, Jack Henry & Associates, Fiserv Bowling Green, Genpass, Intrieve, Shazam ITS, Elan and Intercept.
"These processor certifications allow us to serve a greater banking community in the U.S., as more and more banks are adopting open standards architecture for greater flexibility in the ATM channel," said Brian L. Lee, vice president of technology at Transoft, in a news release. Currently, eATM is deployed in several countries around the world, including the United States., Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, the U.K., the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Mozambique and Senegal.
By integrating NCR's NDC+ and Diebold's 912 ATM applications with new browser-based interface technology, eATM provides an open, hardware-independent platform capable of providing greater functionality and flexibility, according to the release. The release noted that the integration allows banks to be vendor-independent when purchasing ATMs and provides a strong multi-media capability through a browser-based technology.
