NORTH CANTON, Ohio — Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union is marking its first month of operation with Diebold's ImageWay ATM Solution. An electronic check-imaging solution for ATMs, ImageWay ATM enables financial institutions to capture check images at the ATM, transport them to a financial institution's server and format the data so it's compatible with the institution's back-office image processes.
Suncoast is the first financial institution to go live with Diebold's ImageWay ATM, according to a news release. The largest credit union in Florida and the eighth largest in the United States, Suncoast launched phase one of its implementation process on October 4.
During the second phase of the implementation, planned for 2005, Suncoast will roll out ImageWay and bulk note acceptors across its network to incorporate full deposit automation on its nearly 90 depository ATMs.
