FREMONT, Calif. — Industrial computer solutions provider and system integrator, Arista has introduced the new ARP-2115, a fanless 15-inch LCD industrial panel computer. The lightweight unit has a resistive touchscreen or strengthened glass that protects the LCD panel from scratching, and features an aluminum panel with heavy-duty steel chassis for use in for rough environmental conditions. The ARP-2115 has no moving parts.
The ARP-2115 industrial LCD computer is equipped with a VIA low power Eden 667 MHz CPU that is expandable to 512 MB of system memory. It uses a compact flash card as a storage device, replacing the traditional hard disk drive. The ARP-2115 LCD computer has a wide range of integrated interfaces for the connection of external devices. The unit has two USB 1.1 ports, one RS-232/422/485 port, two RS-232 ports and one 10/100 ethernet port.
