ALBERTA, Canada — WiseVillage, a Canadian manufacturer of WiseNav spatial navigation software and the WiseStation kiosks, has chosen the new Telpar Stealth wide format printer for use in all of its kiosks. Equipped with a 42-inch plasma screen, 19-inch interactive touchscreen, debit and credit card reader, printer and on-board phone, WiseStations are geared toward big box stores, shopping malls and government organizations.
The MTP-2283i Stealth wide format printer features a patented new document delivery system which prevents paper jams caused when a user tries to remove the document before it is fully printed. It also allows unwanted documents to be retracted back into the kiosk for disposal, preventing litter in the kiosk area. Telpar is a leading manufacturer of printer solutions for the kiosk, OEM and custom printer markets, as well as a full-service distributor of auto ID, wireless solutions and point of sale products and services.
WiseStations will make their debut at The Kiosk Show in Boston, Oct 7 and 8. The third annual Kiosk Show offers seminars and workshops that explain current kiosk technology and the process of implementing interactive kiosks for businesses.
