Coventry to use Open/2 for super-ATM project

Computer Weekly: COVENTRY, England — The Coventry Building Society, the UK's fifth largest building society, with one million customers and £9 billion (U.S. $16.3 billion) in assets, has recently upgraded its back-office ATM support by installing Open/2 software from S2 Systems.

The software, running on Sun servers and integrated with Oracle's 9i database, will help the society move towards the next phase of its ATM overhaul — adding mobile functionality.
