BETHESDA, Md. — AREVA's T&D division, product, systems and services provider to the electric transmission and distribution industry, on Tuesday began a three-month U.S. Mobile Expo Tour.
AREVA T&D's Mobile Expo contains demonstration kiosks highlighting the company’s latest products and service offerings. AREVA representatives travel with the 48-foot trailer to demonstrate the equipment and answer questions.
According to a press release, the Mobile Expo travels through 35 states, plus Washington D.C., and will make nearly 90 stops. The truck also will appear at the Ohio Line Supervisors Association Equipment Show in Marion, Ohio, Sept. 29-30, and at the Western Protective Relays Conference in Spokane, Wash., Oct. 18-21. The tour ends Nov. 19 in El Paso, Texas.
"We are excited about the Mobile Expo because it gets us in front of customers who might not be able to attend the major trade shows where we exhibit," said Laurent Demortier, executive vice president for AREVA T&D's automation and information systems unit.
