LONG BEACH, Miss. ? Triton's Encrypting PIN Pads (EPP) for its Triton Mako, SuperScrip, 9100, 9700, and 9600 Series ATMs have been certified as being compliant with new Visa security requirements.
These certifications follow the Visa certification of the Triton RL5000 and FT5000 in May. Tests by Germany's T-Systems ITC Security lab confirm that the Triton EPPs meet Visa's security requirements.
Triton is also providing Triple DES encryption capabilities as a standard feature on all of its ATMs, according to a news release.
"Triton continues to build on its commitment to producing an ATM that consumers can use with confidence; one that protects them from fraudulent activity at the ATM," said Brian Kett, president of Triton.
