BUENA PARK, Calif. — Noritsu has introduced the CT- Kiosk – a self-serve, touch-screen retail system that makes printing digital photos fast, easy, and consumer-friendly.
The network- and Internet-ready CT-Kiosk can be used as a stand-alone system complete with up to three dye-sublimation printers or as part of a self-service photofinishing solution that helps consumers place orders on a Noritsu QSS or dDP system.
When placed in a retail outlet, customers may simply bring in their storage media, including CD-R/RW, Zip, SmartMedia, CompactFlash, SD Card, xD-Picture Card, or Memory Stick, insert it into the terminal, select options from the touch-screen, and bring the completed order slip to the cashier. Those with Infrared or Bluetooth capability can transfer photo files wirelessly. Orders can then be sent off-site via Internet to any Noritsu digital minilab or digital printer for output or printed on-site when directly connected to the QSS digital minilab or dDP- 411 Digital Dry Printer. To create a stand-alone kiosk that offers on-the-spot digital printing, operators simply add up to three high-quality dye sublimation printers.
