BT and Lastminute join forces for restaurant bookings kiosk

Lastminute.com — BT has joined forces with Lastminute.com to bring broadband to Britain's restaurant industry with the launch of an online booking system. The venture allows restaurants to advertise table vacancies through broadband the moment they become available, and will include a live diary management and booking system. A second initiative involves the roll-out of bright pink kiosks across the UK that enables customers to book deals through the Lastminute.com site.
