SAN JOSE, Calif. — I-S-Cubed Inc. (iS3), a provider of secure key management solutions for network-connected devices, has added support for Diebold and NCR ATMs to its SecureOMS automated key management solution.
According to a news release, financial institutions and transaction acquirers can now manage networks containing both brands of ATMs from a single point of control, eliminating the need to implement multiple solutions. Customers will also be freed from the requirement of maintaining host utilities tied to a particular host application vendor or platform.
“We created SecureOMS to address the costly problem facing financial institutions of different brands of devices having different cryptographic support requirements. With the universal approach of providing secure key management for all vendors’ devices from a single point, while ensuring compatibility with any host application, we have positioned the SecureOMS solution as an industry standard,” said Jose Carreon, I-S-Cubed's executive vice president of Technology Development.
