CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The ATM Industry Association says it has renewed its insurance program with no rate and premium increases for the third consecutive year.
Mark Coons of American Special Risk, which administers the ATMIA insurance program, said that insurers have agreed to renew the program again without increases that would have been passed on to members of the association.
"This is a testament to the strength of the ATM Industry Association and its members as well as a general confidence in the industry," Coons said. “Membership does have its privileges and this is reflected in the strength and stability of our insurance program; a program that we believe is the most comprehensive and affordable insurance program available for the independent ATM deployer.”
Noting that ATMIA plans to increase its membership to 1,000 strong by 2008, Coons said, "With the onset of increased membership, the ATMIA insurance staff is looking forward to new and innovative products suggested by the members at large."
