• Cramer promotes good driving skills via interactive kiosk

Cramer, an integrated media productions company, is the driving force behind an interactive kiosk system that helps promote highway safety.

Cramer has partnered with Continental Teves, a supplier of automotive safety technologies, to produce a custom-designed tractor-trailer that is traveling the country to educate drivers about onboard safety systems available in vehicles. The campaign’s theme is dubbed "Safely There."

According to a press release, the trailer has interactive educational kiosks with Cramer-created realistic driving simulations. Cramer utilized 3D-computer graphic technology similar to that used in contemporary video games. The goal is to make the driving simulations as realistic and exciting as possible. The driving simulations include tension and vibration in the steering wheel, as well as the rapid pulsing sensation in the brake pedal felt when anti-lock brakes are working.

"Among all the features touted in the automotive industry, safety is our priority," says Bill Kozyra, president and CEO of Continental Teves Inc. "Cramer leveraged innovative technology to allow consumers to understand and demonstrate electronic stability control."

Cramer was selected a winner for their work on Continental's "Safely There" campaign in the category of manufacturing vertical for the 2003 MIMC Awards. The annual MIMC Awards is the largest awards competition in the country that recognizes achievements in the development and implementation of interactive technologies and applications.

Cramer’s clients include Bayer HealthCare, the Boston Red Sox, Fidelity Investments, Gillette, and Ocean Spray.
