CONCORD, N.C. — Trusted Security Solutions (TSS), developer of the A98 key management system, has appointed David Pharr as director of Business Development.

According to a news release, Pharr will be responsible for the development and expansion of marketing channels and partner relationships.

Pharr most recently was vice president of Operations and co-owner of New Concepts in Marketing (NCiM), a national marketing firm based in Charlotte, N.C.  Prior to NCiM, he spent six years in sales management of a national voice processing service bureau (Async Corporation) prior to its sale to Telecom USA and later MCI Corporation.

Dennis "Abe" Abraham, president of Trusted Security Solutions, said in the release, "David brings an impressive record of sustained growth in every venture with which he has been associated. David will fill a key role in the development of existing and new channels for our unique line of key management products."

According to Abraham, activity is running at a high level at TSS with many financial institutions and transaction processors working to bring their systems into compliance with ANSI standards and  network compliance directives for Triple DES.  Many are also exploring remote keying of ATMs, he said.

Pharr said he expects the company's A98-R remote key solution to positively impact sales.  "With the implementation of automated remote key, the A98 system will yield additional cost savings for our customers. A98 will provide them with a single, integrated solution for both their legacy and new remote-enabled ATMs," he said.
