MONTVALE, N.J. and NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Michigan Credit Union League, through its wholly owned subsidiary CUcorp Inc., has forged an EFT marketing agreement with NYCE Corporation.
Under the agreement, effective April 1, CUcorp will work with NYCE sales and servicing teams to provide Michigan credit unions with NYCE products and services, including ATM and PIN point-of-sale network services, signature debit processing, ATM terminal driving and card authorization services.
NYCE will be the sole EFT network and related services provider endorsed and promoted by CUcorp, according to a news release.
Beyond the traditional ATM/POS Network and EFT processing services, NYCE’s offering will include its SUM surcharge-free ATM program and immediate access to NYCE’s A2A money transfer and direct bill payment products.
"Our history includes the Michigan Credit Union League representing credit union interests as a former shareholder of NYCE Corporation, and as a result, we are appreciative of the unique needs of credit unions,” said Dennis Lynch, NYCE Corporation's president and chief executive, in the release. “We are extremely pleased that the Michigan Credit Union League is further entrusting NYCE to deliver a broader, deeper range of current and future consumer payment services to its member organizations.”
In Michigan, NYCE currently serves 336 credit unions representing 77 percent of the total Michigan credit union community, plus 131 other financial institutions. More than 8,000 ATMs and 27,000 POS locations in Michigan are part of the NYCE network.
