LONDON -- The Schroders London Boat Show seems an unlikely place to find a kiosk. But recent data-protection legislation in the UK and a growing consumer demand for more innovative display methods has led to Working Solutions providing a new offering to the conference and exhibition industry.
Working Solutions has launched a kiosk rental service, available to companies that need to present high-quality media images and information, and collect customer data. At the Boat Show, TKF Communications uses a rented kiosk to present information to potential customers, and to collect customer information, according to a news release.
Using the system, only authorized members of staff can see the full contact details of the interested parties. The unit also allows for quicker follow-ups after a show.
There is even the ability to activate e-mail brochures directly to interested customers from the show, so that customers returning home that evening find the information they requested waiting for them in their inbox, the release said.
