WEST CHESTER, Pa. -- MEI, developer of electronic payment systems, said its bill acceptors operate seamlessly with NetStop Pro kiosk software from Moonrise Systems.
A personal computer integrated with NetStop Pro software and an MEI bill acceptor has everything needed to function as a pay-per-use Internet access kiosk, according to a news release.
NetStop Pro is a more powerful and versatile version of Moonrise’s NetStop Internet café and kiosk software that is used in over 12,000 kiosks in 60 countries around the world. NetStop software is used in a wide variety of locations including hotels, airports, hospitals, cyber cafes, shopping centers, restaurants, bars, ski resorts, laundromats, car washes, colleges, banks, schools, campgrounds, medical centers, convention centers public libraries, car dealerships, cruise vessels, book stores and RV parks.
"Customers can easily transform a PC into a cash-generating machine, "said Michael Williams, Moonrise Systems, in the release. "All that is needed is NetStop Pro software, and an MEI bill acceptor to validate the cash. NetStop Pro has built-in support for bill acceptors and coin acceptors, so integration is a breeze, even for those who aren’t tech savvy."
NetStop Pro allows customization of the user interface, HTML graphics with 16.8 million colors, and enhanced advertising and banners. New built-in applications including Web Cam, video e-mails with audio, MSN Messenger, smart memory/media card reader, and digital photo e-mails, according to the release.
In addition, advanced monitoring capabilities enable deployers to check the status of the kiosk network from a remote location.
