The Greenopolis Recycling System celebrated the collection of its two millionth container this weekend at Whole Foods Market in West Hollywood, according to a story on Hooray 4 Hollywood.

When Wayne Meza recycled a Tecata Cerveza can at the kiosk he received a gift certificate, flowers and a card from the Greenopolis Team to acknowledge the accomplishment.

The kiosks have been collecting items in the Los Angeles, Phoenix and Northern California areas for several months. Recyclers receive points from the kiosks that they can redeem for prizes.
