Connected Technology Solutions (CTS), a provider of self-service, health-care kiosks, announced today in a press release that its Patient Passport Express kiosks have assisted more than 5,000,000 patients to check in for their appointments.

More than 50 health-care system providers, hospitals and clinics have installed the kiosks designed to save time for patients and staff.

Patients use touchscreens to check in, make future appointments, update personal medical histories, sign documents using an integrated electronic signature pad, make co-pay payments with a credit card or view facility maps.
