Self-service kiosks featuring educational programs will help the U.S. Treasury Department launch its Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
According to the Washington Post, the headquarters, set to open in July just across from the White House complex, will house interactive kiosks and 21st-century learning centers to help Americans of all ages learn more about "managing their finances and about the nation's first bureau dedicated to making the markets for consumer financial products and services work for American families," according to an announcement by the Treasury Department.
Elizabeth Warren, assistant to the president and special adviser to the secretary of the Treasury on the new bureau, said in a statement, "The consumer bureau belongs to the American people, so we aim to make its headquarters welcoming to the public."
