When SA Screen Media were asked by Canon Cameras to provide an innovative solution to promote their new range of digital SLRs in the Netherlands, Acquire Digital Multimedia was delighted to be selected as a technology partner.
For the first collaboration between Acquire and SA Screen Media, Canon cameras were connected to the large format screens of the SA Digiadvans allowing members of the public the opportunity to test the products right on the high street and more importantly see the results immediately on the large screens. Brand ambassadors were also on hand to offer technical advice and even demonstrate the advanced features of the cameras to a mass audience using the cameras connected to the Digiadvans.
Three SA Digiadvans using Acquire digital signage players toured major cities throughout the Netherlands during the month of December. The interactive features of the Digiadvan's, made possible thanks the Acquire Premier digital signage solution, allowed members of the public to interact with products in a way they would never be able to inside stores. According to SA Screen Media, retail store owners in the Netherlands reported making sales directly as a result of the Digiadvan demonstrations.
