TE Connectivity has introduced the Elo TouchSystems C-Series, the latest addition to its all-in-one, touch- computer portfolio for retail point-of-sale, countertop-product demonstration and customer-information systems.
According to a press release, the C-Series broadens the company's all-in-one lineup with two new screen sizes – the 19-inch and 22-inch HD wide-screen formats – while leveraging the same high-quality performance and durability of its popular B-Series and D-Series touch computers.
"The C-Series offers developers a rare combination of performance and choice of configuration – all wrapped into a functional, stylish and compact design," said Bradley Verona, Elo TouchSystems product manager.
What it does
Designed as a seamless expansion of the company's B-Series portfolio, the C-Series combines versatility, processing power and screen durability with an expansive scope of configuration options and multiple form-factors, including the Elo TouchSystems zero-bezel product design for a sleek, edge-to-edge look as well as easy cleaning and maintenance, according to the press release.
It's also rugged, highly configurable and stylishly packaged and offers system integrators, value-added resellers and software developers an expanded selection of all-in-one touch-computing options for the development of point-of-sale (POS), point-of-information (POI) and point-of-service applications.
The C-Series can be incorporated into most desktop or countertop touch-display applications, including customer-loyalty systems, Internet access sites, digital signage and hospitality, and home automation and control.
