Telpar, a thermal printer manufacturer, has made enhancements on its Stealth Series thermal printer line with the introduction of the Stealth MTP2822, a 2-inch receipt printer, and the Stealth MTP2832, a 3-inch receipt printer.
According to a press release, both have a print speed of 8 inches per second, which allows for increased productivity in a wider range of self-service and kiosk printer applications. The printers also feature USB, network, serial and parallel interface connectivity.
"Telpar is improving its product line to meet customer demands for more speed and functionally at a value price, said Telpar's Vice President of Manufacturing Vicki Pillsbury, in the press release.
Both printers also offer the company's patented looping presenter, with document retract or eject, automatically retracting the document back into the enclosure if it is not taken, helping guard circulation of client-sensitive information and a straight paper path with flip-up print head access for performing machine service.
