Wincor Nixdorf Inc. has finalized a deal with Winston-Salem, N.C.-based BB&T Corporation to provide ATM hardware and associated services for up to 100 branch and off-premises locations in North Carolina and Florida.
According to a release, the ATMs will feature touchscreen capabilities, which will be new to the BB&T fleet. Seventy percent of the machines will offer envelope deposit. The units will be equipped with Wincor Nixdorf’s ProFlex multi-vendor ATM software.
The order includes a range of ProCash ATM models with Wincor Nixdorf’s first- and second-line service, maintenance and support. Installation of the new units is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
