Pyramid Technologies has launched its Aqua line of bill acceptors designed for outdoor, wet or high humidity applications. With its original vertical sensor technology, the Aqua line is weather resistant and low maintenance, according to a company press release.
Designed and built in the United States, the Aqua series comes equipped with a built-in water drainage path and a rear port. Plus, the electronics are housed in a specially designed enclosure to ensure consistent, reliable performance.
"The exceptional performance of this unit – having undergone the most intensive field test in memory – should remove the headache for operators working in tough environments," Dave Mays, president and CEO of Pyramid Technologies, said in the release.
