Versatile Systems Inc. recently announced the addition of the Seneca model to its line of digital signage kiosk options. The Versatile Seneca is a floor-standing steel enclosure with a black powder coat finish featuring a 22-inch LCD glass touchscreen display.
The internal components of the Seneca kiosk also include a Versatile Smart Sign Player, integrated audio speakers, an 80 mm thermal printer and Ethernet-based network access (wireless options are available for the Versatile Smart Sign Players that provide wireless network access over 802.11B or 802.11G).
The Seneca has the full functionality of the Smart Sign solution suite. Through a secure cloud-based interface, the company said, the Versatile Smart Signs give device owners access to a powerful operating system without the concern of managing or maintaining the IT infrastructure, allowing owners to focus on the content and delivery strategy of their signage deployment.
"The Seneca is a cost-effective addition to our kiosk line and was designed to attract and engage customers," said Versatile Systems president Bob Joyce in the announcement. "With its bright 22-inch touchscreen and sleek, contemporary construction, the Seneca provides the advantages of digital signage and a self-service kiosk."
