International hotel chain Kempinksi Hotels deployed NAVORI QL digital signage software to power signage enabling the placement of customers' logos and welcome messages on meeting room, lobby and hotel entrance digital signage screens. The first screens are now operational in Kempinski Hotel Cathedral Square in Vilnius, Lithuania, and a further rollout to other hotels of the chain is planned for the near future, according to NAVORI.
In a further stage the system will interact with the chain's room management system, NAVORI said. Apart from its traditional lobby signage applications, Kempinski will then be able to target its customers more specifically, up to interactive scenarios such as personalized welcome messages and wayfinding content, the company said.
According to NAVORI, Kempinski is interested in the playback monitoring capability of NAVORI QL for billing its advertising, creating additional revenue streams.
A new NAVORI QL module also will be installed that will manage interactive kiosk systems, the company said. Customer- or circumstance-related content can then be triggered, based on the information and profile on the RFID room key card of the hotel guests or RFID visitor badges. NAVORI fully qualified on all requirements and the first screens are now operational in Kempinski Hotel Cathedral Square in Vilnius. A further roll-out to other hotels of the KEMPINSKI chain is planned for the near future.
"This deployment opens a huge vertical market into the hospitality and catering segments," NAVORI Sales Director Aurelien Defendi said, "and great opportunities for our channel partners and system integrators."
