GRG to add card-issuing function to ATM models

May 14, 2012

GRGBanking announced recently that its ATMs will now support a debit and gift card issuing function, using a module equipped with an independent card box that can dispense standard-sized cards of any type.

The self-service card issuing solution allows banks to optimize the ATM self-service channel by enabling the issuance of magnetic stripe or integrated chip cards, as well as virtually any types of gift cards, said Kevin Luo, director of business development at GRGBanking.

For the ATM deployer, the self-service solution can streamline the card-issuing process, maximize ATM utilization efficiency, and extend traditional service channels outside of the branch.

"It can also save cost — including human resource and time resources — improve customer satisfaction" said Luo. He said the first such GRG card-dispensing machine will be available on the market soon.
