NCR Corporation is making its Advanced Back Office sofware available to U.S. independent grocery stores through the NCR Interact Global Partner Program, NCR's independent retailer sales channel.
NCR ABO is a feature-rich, back-office software application designed to help independent grocers quickly maximize productivity and manage inventory, prices, margins and orders. The software is designed to be easy to learn, easy to use and easy to manage, according to a company press release. NCR ABO can be installed in less than 10 minutes and reduces training time by up to 70 percent. The system also easily integrates with a variety of other store systems.
NCR's ABO enhances the NCR Advanced Checkout Solution, an assisted-checkout store automation solution designed to meet high-volume checkout needs. The system enables faster checkout, enhanced ability to promote in-store specials and helps increase sales and overall store productivity and efficiency. The easy-to-use ACS system results in cashier training cost reductions of up to 60 percent and increased cashier productivity of up to 44 percent, David Wilkinson, vice president of NCR's global sales channel, said in the release.
