Sept. 13, 2012

Self-service technology company Zivelo announced that it has been named as an honoree to the 2012 Empact100 list by Empact, an organization that focuses on making entrepreneurship a sustainable career option, according to a press release.

The Empact100 list is composed of the top 100 companies in the Empact Showcase, a compilation of companies founded by the United States' leading entrepreneurs who are age 30 and under, and whose annual revenues or operating budgets (for non-profits) are more than $100,000, the announcement said.

Zivelo is noted as having generated over $5 million in revenue in 2012. According to Empact, the companies on the Empact Showcase contributed more than 8,000 jobs to the U.S. economy and controlled $1 billion in revenue this year.

"We have been hard at work promoting innovations within the self-service technology space and are honored to receive this recognition from Empact again for our efforts," said Zivelo founder Ziver Birg. "The opportunity to continue to work with them to support global entrepreneurial initiatives is very rewarding."

The honorees will be recognized at a Sept. 28 White House ceremony, according to the announcement.
