The vast majority of McDonald's kiosks in Europe are similar to this one and found in France.
McDonald's officials said the kiosks will not replace human jobs. In fact, they expect orders to increase, which could lead to an increased need for employees.
Although the drive-thru doesn’t technically use kiosks, it relies on a technology called Customer Order Displays.
They allow customers to speak with the staff in the drive-thru lane. A monitor allows customers to check their orders.
The kiosks do not accept cash. They only accept credit cards.
