Digital Payment Technologies provides parking solutions that are easier to use, including parking meters that accept credit cards. Because the meters are outdoors, they are vulnerable to both vandalism and inclement weather. In order to stay profitable, the meters must have card readers that can withstand harsh treatment and continue to accept payment. ID TECH offered a solution. The company provided DPT with custom-designed, ruggedized card readers that were resistant to vandalism and performed well under a variety of conditions.
